Privacy Policy

Effective April 2026

RainLog ("we," "our," "us") operates the website at rainlog.net. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

We keep this straightforward because our data collection is minimal.

What we collect

When you sign up for early access

If you submit the early access form on our site, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • The timestamp of your submission
  • The source page (e.g., "rainlog.net waitlist")

This information is submitted through Formspree, a third-party form handling service, and delivered to us via email. We use it solely to contact you about RainLog product availability and onboarding.

When you visit our site

We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run analytics scripts, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking tools. Standard server logs maintained by our hosting provider (Vercel) may record basic request information such as IP addresses and browser user agents, as is standard for web hosting.

How we use your data

  • To contact you about RainLog early access and product updates
  • To understand interest and prioritize onboarding by region

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

Data retention

We retain your email address and submission data for as long as necessary to manage early access communications. You can request removal of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To make a request, email logan@rainlog.net.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page. The effective date at the top reflects when the policy was last revised.
